Awesome....I Said AWESOME!!
So...I got introduced to Awesome!! Awesome is a cleaning product found in dollar stores all over America. Why am I talking about it? Well, I've been going to 'The Burn' since '04 and everytime getting playa dust of ma gear (including tent) is a nightmare!! Not anymore for moi lol!! Get a kitchen sponge, bucket of water and dry rag / cloth. Soak the kitchen sponge in Awesome and wipe dusted gear off. The trick is to keep wiping the Awesome with the dry rag. Small patches, wax on wax off styleeee! As the sponge gets dirty clean it in the water....TAADAA!!! So while this secret was kept from me for MANY years, I gift it to you Virgin....enjoy :)

Playa Conditions 2012
I was out on the Playa last Saturday (6/23/12)...YUP!! I must say the Playa looked in surprisingly good shape considering the lack of rain this year. I am for SURE taking my bicycle...took some pics and video so you can make up your own mind!
While staying there I heard that this year it will most probably be VERY WINDY / DUSTY and COLD!! So be prepared i.e. Playa coat, good dust mask and goggles. I got a day and a night pair for a grand total of $10.81 on Amazon and they are motorcycle goggles so they have added wind protection click here to see them!
